My name is Kayla, I am a mum of six. Chanelle our daughter, our three boys Hunter, Lochlan and Quade, Miller our gorgeous angel and Marleigh our rainbow babe. I met Adrian when I was 16 and we’ve been married since 2011.
Life as we know it changed dramatically when our daughter passed away in 2014. I’m not the same person I was then and I don’t think I ever will be. I’ve decided to write about my journey becoming the mum I am today. It’s not going to be perfect, because I am not perfect, I am not a writer. This is for me and hopefully some can relate as I’m no ‘Instagram mum’
I would also like to bring more awareness to ICP (intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy) as I’ve suffered from this condition in each of my five pregnancies. I wholeheartedly believe ICP is the cause of Millers death and one of my missions is to get that cause of death confirmed then to make sure it is taken more seriously so no one else has to go through what we have.
